I could write a fat article on how to ventilate a bathroom, but I won’t. Rather I will briefly explain 5 effective ways that you can implement right now to ventilate your bathroom. Here you go!

1.Install An Exhaust Fan:

If you have bathroom fan installed and it is functioning properly, you would not have this problem in the first place. Installing one of them will solve all the of odor and moisture related problem. Visit ReliefInBath.com to learn more about such bathroom extractor fan. You can find reviews on all the major brands there.

No matter whether you install it in the window or through the ceiling, it will work fine. It will remove all the inside moistures from your bathroom and keep it fresh always. It will ensure an odor free bathroom as well.

I know installing an exhaust fan is expensive but the return is really awesome. It would be so wise of you buying one of them with light and heater.

2. Leaving The Door/Window Open:

Keep the window open for a while after you do your business in the bathroom or take a shower. That way all the moisture will go out and the air quality will improve after a while. If there is drape or curtain covering the window, make sure it is no. But what if you don’t have a window?

Well, then keep the door open for the same reason. Keeping the door or window open will stop the condensation. Also, if you keep out the wet towels or any clothes, it will be good to fight the condensation.

3.Installing Dehumidifier

Dehumidifier works great if your bathroom has no window and you do not have enough money to install a bathroom exhaust fan. It will trap the condensation so the moisture and bad smell can’t spread around the bathroom or any other rooms.

It won’t cost you a fortune but will prevent the mold and mildew to grow inside the damp area of your bathroom.

4. Don’t Forget Regular Cleaning

Yes, you need to keep your bathroom clean always no matter whether you have installed an exhaust fan or a dehumidifier. Declutter your bathroom so that air can circulate everywhere inside it.

Regularly monitor whether the dehumidifier is on or the extractor fan is running.
